Welcome! I’m Stacey Kelly-Gil, and I’m passionate about helping others reconnect with themselves through yoga, wellness, and mindful living. My Story
My journey into the world of yoga and holistic well-being began nearly 20 years ago, driven by a deep passion for the practice and its principles. In 2018, I achieved my dream of becoming a certified yoga teacher, earning my 200 hour yoga teacher training certificate in Vancouver, BC. This milestone marked the culmination of years of dedication and personal growth, and it ignited my desire to share the transformative power of yoga with others.
Just over a year after receiving my certification, life took an unexpected turn when I found myself the owner of a hot yoga and fitness studio - a role that has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. As a new business owner, I navigated the complexities of running a studio, all while facing the unique challenges of the global pandemic. This time of adversity taught me invaluable lessons in adaptability, resilience, and finding solutions even when the path seemed unclear.
During this period of "pivoting," I truly stepped into my role as a teacher and leader, sharing my passion for fitness in every class and building a strong community within the studio. My commitment to growth didn’t stop there - I went on to complete my 300 hour yoga teacher training, as well as certifications in Ayurvedic cooking, mindful meditation, Holistic Health Practitioner training, and Naturopathy.
As a lifelong student of holistic well-being, I’m dedicated to helping others achieve their goals - whether physical, mental, or spiritual. I’m also a mother, wife, sister, and daughter, and I bring my whole heart to everything I do.
Sunsana Retreats is the realization of my passion for holistic health and my desire to share the benefits of yoga, fitness, and wellness with others. Through these retreats, I aim to create a space where you can disconnect from the stresses of daily life, reconnect with yourself, and return home feeling refreshed and inspired.
