It’s official—summer is here and I’m already wondering how it’s July 1st.
The solstice came and went with her radiant energy, and now we’re in it: the golden, juicy heart of the season. If June was the appetizer, July is the main course—hot, vibrant, and ready to be devoured (preferably barefoot, beachside, and with a smoothie in hand).
And honestly? Thank goodness. Because if you know me, you know I hate the cold. Like truly, deeply, passionately despise it. Give me 30 degrees, sun on my face, sweat on my skin, and the smell of SPF any day of the year.

The days are long, the air is thick with possibility, and everything feels just a little bit more alive. I don’t know about you, but my soul seems to breathe deeper this time of year. There’s something about the rhythm of summer that makes us feel—like we’re meant to stretch, sweat, play, rest, wander, and maybe even rewild ourselves a little.
So here’s what I’m leaning into this month:
Early morning movement before the world wakes up
Letting my hair be messy and my schedule even messier
Saying yes to cold dips (barely—because see above) and warm patio hangs
Living outside as much as humanly possible
Ditching perfection and choosing presence every time
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to show up for yourself, this is it. July doesn’t ask for much—just that you feel it all. The joy. The stillness. The burn in your thighs in Warrior 2. The laughter on a patio. The deep, satisfying breath of a moment that’s yours and yours alone.
You deserve to shine. To move. To take up space. To rest. To revel.
So, happy July, my beautiful sun-drenched soul. Let’s make it intentional, sweaty, light-filled, and just the right amount of wild.
See you on the mat,
Stacey
